Dr. Lai graduated from Purdue University majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering (QS Top 100), and has worked at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Intel Corporation, AMG Global Investments, and other internationally renowned platforms, with many years of experience in designing parallel multiprocessor systems. In December 2023, Dr. Zhang was introduced back to China through Chilisan Science and Technology, and joined a national technology innovation centre as the chief scientist of AIGC (Generative Artificial Intelligence).

His creation and invention of light metal green surface treatment process has broken through the bottleneck of the existing process technology, and the whole has reached the international advanced level, which has been recognised and recommended by the academicians of the Royal New Zealand Academy of Science. Dr.Wang has a PhD in Computer Science from National University of Ireland, specialising in big data information processing, mining, information extraction, machine learning, algorithm optimisation, etc. He has presided over and undertaken more than 10 scientific research projects in the EU and China-EU, and the results of his research are mainly applied to the industrial and educational fields, and he has published more than 40 SCI papers cumulatively. From November 2023 to April 2024, with the assistance of Chilisan Science and Technology, Dr. Wang has reached the intention of joining a domestic innovation platform engaged in high-speed train industry technology research, and completed the declaration of the 20th batch of overseas talent introduction plan with the counselling and support of Chilisan Science and Technology, and plans to arrive at the post before June 2025 on a full-time basis.
